You're smart. Health-literate. You've read the books, tried the protocols, worked with practitioners. And yet, the weight won't budge or maybe the fog won't lift, or you're exhausted in a way that sleep doesn't fix, or you just don’t feel like yourself anymore. This isn't a willpower problem. It's not a motivation problem. It's a systems problem. And it's more common than you think.
I work with women 45+ who are done with generic advice.
You might be navigating hormonal shifts — not just estrogen and progesterone, but thyroid, cortisol, insulin, the whole interconnected picture. You might have ADHD, diagnosed or suspected, and have spent decades wondering why consistency feels so much harder for you than for everyone else. You might be working with practitioners already but struggling to translate what you know into what you actually do day-to-day.
You're not broken. You just haven't had support designed for how you're actually wired.
I'm not going to hand you a meal plan or a habit tracker and wish you luck.
I'm going to help you understand your own biology — the real reasons why your body holds weight, resists change, and runs on empty. Then we're going to build the smallest possible structure that makes consistency actually possible for your brain and your life.
Not pressure. Not perfection. Structure that fits how you're actually wired.
I use a functional nutrition and whole-systems lens, which means we look at root causes — not just symptoms. And I use the Tiny Habits® method, because for women whose nervous systems are already overloaded, adding more is never the answer.
Suzanne Trainor, NBC-HWC, MBA
I work at the place where physiology and behavior meet, helping women understand how their biology shapes their choices, their energy, and their sense of self. I'm a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor, and Tiny Habits® Coach, with additional training in life coaching through Martha Beck.
But honestly? What qualifies me most is that I've lived this.
The exhaustion. The weight that doesn't respond the way it should. The ADHD brain that knows exactly what to do and still struggles to do it. The hormonal complexity of being a woman in her 60’s trying to feel vital and sharp and like herself again.
I'm not coaching from a place of having it all figured out. I'm coaching from inside the experience, with the knowledge, the tools, and the genuine understanding of how hard this actually is.
I became a coach because I needed one who understood all of this. I couldn't find her, so I became her.
You're 45+ and feel like your body has changed the rules on you
You're already health-literate but can't make it stick
You suspect hormones, ADHD, or your nervous system are part of the picture
You're tired of being told to try harder
You want someone who will translate the science and actually help you implement it — without judgment, without overwhelm
Progress here doesn't look like a straight line. It looks like understanding yourself better, responding to setbacks differently, and gradually building a relationship with your body based on curiosity and compassion instead of frustration. That's the work. It's slower than a quick fix and far more durable.
You don't need another protocol. You need someone who understands why the protocols haven't worked.
Let's figure out what your body is actually asking for.
